Kristofak and Smith Honored as Falcons of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — In this week's "Taking Flight" Players of the Week, Albertus Magnus College men's golfer Charles Kristofak (West Hartford, Conn.) and softball's Isabelle Smith (Meriden, Conn.) had standout performances for the Falcons.

Kristofak led the men's golf team to a first-place finish in a tri-match with SUNY Old Westbury and Western New England at Mohegan Sun Golf Club. He shot a 7-over par 79 to help the Falcons edge Old Westbury by one stroke.

Smith exploded at the plate in a win against Westfield St. going 4-for-4 and she finished the week with a .500 batting average over the five games she played in.
