NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Albertus Magnus College hosted its 2024 Falcon Leader and Service Awards, which are presented annually to students who have impacted the college community through various involvement opportunities. Student-athletes were well represented at the ceremony, with six Falcons taking home awards.
JJ Berdal of the men's ice hockey team won the President's Award, while teammate Tyler Ignazzitto took home the Male Student-Athlete Outstanding Involvement Award.
Sharaya Keele of the women's basketball team and current president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee won the Female Student-Athlete Outstanding Involvement Award.
Amy Stevens of the women's soccer team won the Lillian Adley Germain '57 Award of Excellence.
Erin Molkenthin of the softball team and Bobby Arent of the baseball team were named the Outstanding Female Scholar-Athlete and Outstanding Male Scholar-Athlete, respectively.
