NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Roger Baldwin (New Haven, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team and Shalese Gordon (Bridgeport, Conn.) of the women's volleyball team were named the Takin' Flight Falcons of the Week for their performances this week.
In a 1-0-2 week for the men's soccer team, Baldwin scored in the 52nd minute - which turned out to be the eventual game-winner on the way to a 1-0 victory over Norwich on Saturday.
Gordon became the second women's volleyball athlete in program history to reach 1,000 assists. The junior racked up 39 assists in two matches this weekend against NEC and SJC (Me.).
