NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Albertus Magnus College athletics department will host its inaugural "Athletics Showcase" for all members of the campus community on Wednesday, November 20. The event will run from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the gymnasium of the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center.
Attendees will receive a ticket upon entering and the winner will have an opportunity to make a half-court shot for $10,000 as the event concludes at 5:30 p.m.
There will be food, games, giveaways, photo opportunities and an opportunity to meet with Albertus coaches, staff and student-athletes. Director of Athletics Michael Kobylanski will also provide brief remarks at approximately 5:15 p.m.
Admission is free and Albertus faculty and staff are welcome to bring any youngsters to join in the festivities as well.
