NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Jess Trocchio (Holtsville, N.Y.) of the Albertus Magnus women's ice hockey team and Paden Hicks (Kansas City, Mo.) of the men's ice hockey team were both named the Takin' Flight Falcons of the Week for their performances this past week.
Trocchio stood tall in net for the Albertus Magnus College women's ice hockey team and notched her first career win in a 5-2 victory over the visiting Neumann University Knights on Tuesday. The first-year goaltender finished the game with 14 saves.
Hicks had a goal and an assist as the Albertus Magnus men's hockey team won 10-1 over Southern Maine University on Friday evening at Ralph Walker Ice Rink. The sophomore added two assists on Saturday as the Falcons won 4-3 to complete the weekend sweep.
