NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Emily Morales (Southington, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus women's swimming & diving team and Lennox Serrano (Waterbury, Conn.) of the men's basketball team were named the Takin' Flight Falcons of the Week for their performances this week.
Morales swam a personal record time with a time of 1:18.35 to finish second in the 100-yard backstroke. Morales also earned a PR in the 50-yard breastroke with a time of 38.23 for a third place finish and placed fourth in the 100-yard IM for a career best time of 1:24.03.
Serrano notched his first career double-double with 11 points - including two highlight reel, alley-oop dunks - and 10 rebounds in a win over Mitchell. The freshman forward followed up with 10 points, five rebounds, and three assists against Saint Joseph's College (Maine). He also added four steals and three blocks on the week.
