NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Adriel Espada (Bridgeport, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus baseball team and Tori Walsh (Marystown, Newfoundland) of the women's golf team were named the Takin' Flight Falcons of the Week for their performances this past week.
Espada batted .450 with five RBI and nine runs scored on the week for the Falcons. The senior shortstop had one double, one triple and added nine stolen bases.
Walsh won her singles match 9&8 as the Falcons swept WestConn in match play on Wednesday. She won the first hole, tied the second, and won the final eight holes in her win.
