GNAC Tournament Information

The Albertus Magnus baseball team will be the fifth seed in the upcoming Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament that is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 24. The Falcons will head to Quincy, Massachusetts to take on fourth-seeded Suffolk in postseason play.

The Tuesday contest will be a nine-inning ballgame and is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Adams Field.

Albertus Magnus (13-19) will face the Rams for the third time this season as the two teams split in their April 14 double-header in West Haven. The Rams finished the regular season 17-20-1 with an 11-5 mark in GNAC play. The Falcons head into the postseason with a 7-7 league record.

The winner of Tuesday night's game will head to Standish, Maine to take on top-seeded Saint Joseph's College of Maine in a 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon contest. The remainder of the double-elimination tournament will be played this weekend in Providence, R.I.

The Falcons are making their second-straight appearance in the GNAC Tournament as they are looking for their first GNAC Tournament victory since April 22, 2009 when Albertus defeated Lasell 9-7.
