Entering the 2013 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Baseball Tournament as the fifth seed, the Albertus Magnus Falcons will head north to take on fourth-seeded Lasell in a 6:00 p.m. contest on Wednesday night at Brandeis University.
The Falcons finished the 2013 regular season with back-to-back losses to Suffolk University on Monday, April 22 and now have an overall record of 12-17 and finished with a league mark of 7-9.
Lasell enters the GNAC Tournament with a 12-21 overall record along with an 8-8 showing in league action. Lasell is coming off three-straight losses, two of which came from non-conference opponent Mass-Maritime on Sunday.
During the 2013 regular season, Lasell took two games from the Falcons in West Haven, Conn. as the Lasers won game one on April 6th 4-1 before defeating the Falcons 6-3 in the nightcap.
