Jon Criscio (East Haven, Conn.) allowed just one hit in five innings of work on the mound to lead the Albertus Magnus baseball team to an impressive 14-1 win over Yeshiva on Friday afternoon in New York.

Criscio picked up his first victory of the season to improve to 1-2 on the year for the Falcons.  The win improved the Falcons' overall record to 10-9 on the year as well.

Jordan Kubilus (Cheshire, Conn.) went 2-for-2 with one run scored and two RBI to lead Albertus, while Justin Poirier (Meriden, Conn.) added two hits and two runs scored.  The Falcons tallied 11 hits on the day as Poirier and Kubilus were the only Falcons to register multiple hits on the day.

Kubilus tripled in the first inning before scoring on an RBI single from Jack Pritchard (Orange, Conn.), putting the Falcons ahead 1-0 early.  The Falcons added five runs in the second inning and three more in the third to take a 9-0 lead.

Kubilus and Nick Sedia (Bronx, N.Y.) knocked in a combined four runs in the second inning, while an error and a sacrifice fly by Patrick Dornfried (Berlin, Conn.) added more runs to the Falcons' tally.

Yeshiva recorded six errors in the contest and just five hits.

Christopher Saunders (Watertown, Conn.) came out of the bullpen and walked one batter, while allowing a hit in one inning of work.  Kyle Soules (Wallingford, Conn.) finished the game from the hill as he gave up one run on three hits.
