Winthrop, Mass. - Sophomore Matt Warren (Wolcott, Con.) of the Albertus Magnus College baseball team was tabbed as this week's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Warren slashed a .545/.538/1.273 in a 2-1 week for the Falcons, going 6-for-11 with double, two triples, a home run, seven runs scored, and 11 RBI. In the 16-0 victory against Rivier on Saturday, he went 3-of-4 with a season-best three runs, a triple, a home run, and a career-best six RBI.

The baseball team returns to action this week with against Suffolk (4/18), Anna Maria (DH-4/21) and Norwich (DH-4/22).
