WALTHAM, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College baseball team lost a 13-2 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest to Lasell University on Monday afternoon.
Elijah Spataj (Cheshire, Conn.) and King Rivera (Bridgeport, Conn.) each had two hits.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the Falcons left two runners on in the top of the first, Lasell would score seven runs in the bottom of the inning that included a three-run double by Jared Whitby and a two-run homer by Christopher Bulk.
- Lasell added two more in the bottom of the second on a two-run homer by Connor Freitas.
- The Falcons got on the board in the top of the fourth with two runs. Shawn Smith (Shelton, Conn.), Robert Anton (Woodbury, Conn.) and Rivera each singled to load the bases with no outs. After the next two batters were retired, Adriel Espada (Bridgeport, Conn.) reached on a throwing error which allowed both Anton and Smith to score, making it a 9-2 game.
- The Lasers added one more run in the bottom of the fourth, and ended the game in the seventh inning after a three-run homer by CJ Mills.
