HOW IT HAPPENED
The AMCATS opened the game's scoring in the ninth minute with a goal from Chayna Bingham-Hendr. Bingham-Hendr stood near the edge of the circle and rifled a shot by the Albertus goalie to put the road team up 1-0.

Anna Maria added two more goals in the second quarter to take a 3-0 lead into the halftime break. Both Meghan Sonia and Calli McLaughlin found the back of the cage in the second stanza, with Lauren Lapierre and Abigayle Celata recording assists.

Anne Melanson gave the road team a 4-0 advantage with a tally in the 33rd minute. The 5-0 final score came from Sonia, who tallied her second of the afternoon precisely 43 minutes into the contest.

The Falcons' offense featured two shots, both coming in the third period. The first came from Sire Toure (New York, N.Y.) on a breakaway attempt. On the same possession, Ariana Martin (Hamden, Conn.) recorded a shot, but just like Toure's, it ended up going wide of the cage.
