New Haven, Conn. -- Year three of varsity play brings added excitement for the Albertus Magnus College field hockey team, as the Falcons welcome six freshmen to the 2020 roster. Here is a quick introduction to all of the newest Falcons.

Danielle Brodman | Fr. | D | Lindenhurst, N.Y. / Lindenhurst | 5-2
Brodman graduated from Lindenhurst high school in Lindenhurst, N.Y. She also played softball during her career.

Marissa Cappella | Fr. | M/D | Hamden, Conn. / Hamden | 5-3
Cappella attended Hamden High School. The Hamden, Conn., native also played both softball and ice hockey. She was a multiple-time Honor Roll recipient.

Ashley Kearns | Fr. | GK | Shelton, Conn. / Shelton | 5-8
Kearns graduated from Shelton High. The product of Shelton, Conn., made the honor roll all four years of high school. She was on the Spanish Honors Society and the Quill & Scroll Society. She also played track & field, basketball, triathlon, swimming, cycling and running.

Serena Montague | Fr. | GK | Manalapan, N.J. / Manalapan | 5-3
Montague attended Manalapan High School in Manalapan, N.J. She was also a part of the high school's lacrosse and basketball programs.

Mariam Traore | Fr. | - | New York, N.Y. / The Urban Assembly Academy of Government and Law | 5-1
Traore graduated from The Urban Assembly Academy of Government and Law in New York City.

Brittany Yarrow | Fr. | GK | Stamford, Conn. / Stamford | 5-2
Yarrow attended Stamford High School. She was a team captain in both her junior and senior seasons. She was also a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. The Stamford, Conn., native was also a member of the sailing team.
