Field Hockey Bested on the Road at Colby-Sawyer

NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Albertus Magnus College field hockey team suffered a 7-0 road setback to the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer College on Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Chargers burst out of the gates to take a quick 3-0 lead after the first quarter.
• Albertus' defense settled in and held Colby-Sawyer off the scoreboard in the second quarter to take a 3-0 deficit into the halftime break.
• The Falcons' defense continued to keep the Chargers at bay in the third quarter, holding the home squad to one goal to make it a 4-0 game heading into the fourth.
• Unfortunately for AMC, Colby-Sawyer would not be held back for the remainder of the contest, as three fourth-quarter goals sealed a 7-0 setback for Albertus.
• In the cage for the Falcons, Serena Montague (Englishtown, N.J.) recorded her ninth double-digit save output with 11 stops this afternoon.
