New Haven, Conn. - Ella Welton (Cliffwood, N.J.) of the Albertus Magnus College field hockey team was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for her performance this week.

Welton collected 34 saves in two games against Lasell and Vermont State Castleton.

The freshman set a career-high with 24 saves between the pipes against Castleton. Her 42 saves in the first three games puts her on pace to break the program's single-season save record.

The Falcons are back in action on the road at Rivier on Saturday, September 14 at 1:00 p.m.
