NASHUA, N.H. - Ella Welton (Cliffwood, N.J.) had 21 saves in net, but the Albertus Magnus College field hockey team lost a 2-0 match to Rivier on Saturday afternoon in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) road contest.
Welton finished with a .913 save percentage, which is a career-high.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first half, Welton stopped all three shots she faced on net.
- Rivier broke the scoreless tie in the almost 11 minutes into the the third period as Hailey Morse scored off a pass from Brianna Spinelli. Welton would save the final six shots she saw in the period.
- After a penalty corner three minutes into the fourth period, Madison Bovill added a second goal for the Raiders. Welton stopped 12 shots in the period.
