NEW HAVEN, Conn. — With a little more than five minutes remaining in regulation, Rosianys Rivera (New Haven, Conn.) delivered the game-winner for the Albertus Magnus College field hockey in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference action against the visiting Anna Maria College Amcats at Celentano Field on Saturday.
First-year Ella Welton (Cliffwood, N.J. ) recorded her second career win as the Falcons earned the 1-0 dub on Senior Day.

RECORDS: Albertus (2-12, 2-8 GNAC) | Anna Maria (1-13, 1-9 GNAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Albertus drew a penalty corner less than five minutes into the opening corner as Amber DeJonge (Grand Rapids, Mich.) drilled the ball on target before it was deflected by Anna Maria's Angelina Fritze.
- In the third period, Amcats' Anna Maria Lily Celata had a narrow opportunity to put the visitors on the board at 32:32 but Rivera was there to deny the attempt.
- Melina Tarzia (Stamford, Conn. ) drew three straight corners across 40 seconds of play before sending it toward Jess Trocchio (Holtsville, N.Y.) at the top of the corner, who settled the ball before passing it to DeJonge. The senior controlled the ball in the midst of a scramble in front of the net, followed by the tip-in score by Rivera.
