NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College field hockey team dropped its final home match of the season, 4-0 to the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tilt on Tuesday evening at Celentano Field.
Ella Welton (Cliffwood, N.J.) had 11 saves in net for the Falcons.
Amber DeJonge (Grand Rapids, Mich.) and Mariya Helmbold (Bellmawr, N.J.) each had a shot on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Welton had three saves in the first period and it was looking to be a scoreless first period until USJ broke through with a goal from Grace Kociszewski on a pass from Aurelia Barker. It was the first of two goals from Kocisewski.
- Welton shut out the Blue Jays in the second period with five saves, leaving it a 1-0 game at the half.
- Barker added two more saves on the evening, including one on a goal in the third from Maya Tomko and one in the fourth from Alyssa Milligan. Kociszewski added her second goal of the game in the fourth.
