FRANKLIN, Mass. — To close out the regular season, the Albertus Magnus College field hockey team traveled to Great Northeast Athletic onference opponent Dean College on Wednesday, but the Falcons' dropped a 5-0 contest at the Bulldogs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The hosts grabbed the early lead after one minute of action of a penalty corner taken by Dean.
- Emily Yazzetti attempted two shots in the following seven minutes, but the Falcons back line was there to block both attempts in the first quarter.
- In the third period, Ella Welton (Cliffwood, N.J.) stood tall in the net with a pair of saves for a scoreless quarter, while Albertus blocked another shot on goal.
- Welton denied four straight shots by the Bulldogs within a minute in the fourth period before Sophia Merenda netted the final goal of the contest.
- The visitors blocked another Yazzetti shot with less than five minutes remaining in regulation.
