New Haven, CT - On Saturday afternoon the Albertus Magnus Falcons won their fourth straight game cruising to a 96-74 victory over visting Suffolk University. The Falcons were led by sophomore forward Ray Askew (New Haven, CT) who had 27 points and 10 rebounds. The Falcons employed a stifling defense in the first half to hold Suffolk to just 32 percent shooting from the field. The Falcons finished the game with 9 blocks and 10 steals. The Falcons received strong performances from freshman center Jefferson Lora (Bronx, NY) who had 15 points and junior guard Walden St. Juste (Hartford, CT) who added 13 points. The Falcons improve to 11-5 and 7-1 GNAC while Suffolk dropped to 5-10, 1-7 in the GNAC. Albertus travels to Providence, RI on Tuesday to take on GNAC opponent Johnson & Wales University.
