New Haven, CT - Seniors Walden St. Juste (Hartford, CT/Bulkeley) and Byron Reaves (Hamden, CT/Hamden) led the Falcons to a 97-65 win over visiting Suffolk University on senior day. St. Juste scored a game high 28 points including 7-11 from beyond the arc. Reaves added 16 points on 6-10 shooting.
Albertus had 25 team assists, marking their highest team assist total in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play this season.
The Falcons took a commanding 47-26 lead into halftime and led by more than double digits for the vast majority of the contest.
Junior forward Ray Askew (New Haven, CT/Career) had a team high 16 rebounds to go along with 10 points.
Suffolk was led by sophomore center Matt Pepdjonovic (Quinchy, MA/Boston College) and his impressive night of a game high 21 points and game high 21 rebounds along with three blocks and three steals. Fellow sophomore forward Colin Halpin (Melrose, MA/Boston College) chipped in 19 points.
The Albertus Magnus College Falcons finish the regular season 16-9, 14-4 GNAC while Suffolk drops to 8-17, 6-12 GNAC.
The Falcons finish the regular season in third place and will host sixth place Rivier College on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm.
