New Haven, CT - Freshman forward Darius Watson (New Britain, CT/New Britain) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for the second straight week.  Watson led the team to a 1-1 week including an impressive 82-63 win over GNAC opponent Lasell College.  Darius led the team in scoring average with 21.0 ppg including 5-11 from beyond the three point line.

Albertus enters the semester break with a 4-3 overall record including first place in the GNAC (2-0) and remains the only unbeaten team remaining in GNAC competition.

The Falcons return to action when they travel to Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT to take on their non-conference rivals on Monday January 3 at 8:00 pm.
