New Haven, CT - Albertus Magnus College freshman forward Darius Watson (New Britain, CT/New Britain) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for his outstanding performance the previous week.

Askew averaged 20.5 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per game including 6-9 from beyond the three point line. 

The Falcons lost a heartbreaker to Western CT State University 103-99, and soared past GNAC opponent Norwich 94-79 to remain undefeated in GNAC play.
