The Falcons shot 50% from the field in the first half to go into the break with a 52-35 lead. Watson had 13 points at the break, while Julian Sanders (Trumbull, Conn.) tallied nine first-half points off the bench for the Falcons. Sanders finished the game with 14 points in 20 minutes of work.

The score was tied six times in the opening frame, while there were three lead changes before the Falcons took control of the contest. Albertus shot 16-of-18 as a team in the first half from the charity stripe for an 88.9% showing.

The Falcons were held without a bucket until two minutes into the second frame when Watson connected on a layup to give the Falcons' a 14-point lead. Albertus then jumped out to a 28-point lead, its largest of the day, with 14:18 left in the contest as James Jennings (Stratford, Conn.) knocked in two free-throws.

The Falcons shot 57.1% in the second half and held Emerson to a 24.2% showing on 8-of-33 from the floor.

The Falcons head to Anna Maria College on Monday afternoon to take on the AMCats in a 1:00 p.m. GNAC contest.
