HOW IT HAPPENED
Lasell struck first on a 3-pointer by Keith Poitier, before the Falcons' Tyreek Perkins (Norwalk, Conn.) hit a trey to tie it 3-all. Green-Younger then sank a quick layup to give the Falcons their first lead of the day, 5-3, at the 18:35 mark. A three by EJ Day extended the visitors' advantage to 15-9 with just under 15 minutes left in the half.

Green-Younger scored his 1000th-career point on the first of two free throws 6:36 into the bout, before tying the score at 17-17 30 seconds later. The Falcons then went on a 7-0 run to build its advantage to 24-17 with 11:22 left in the half.

After the Lasers tied the score at 31-31 over the next six minutes, the Falcons answered with an 8-0 run following a Terry Dawkins (Bronx, N.Y.) lay-in with 3:20 remaining in the half to take a 39-31 advantage. Albertus built its lead to a half-high 12 points, 47-35, after an Isaiah Lewis (New Haven, Conn.) trey at the 1:10 mark, with the Falcons owning a 49-38 advantage heading into halftime.

The Falcons struck first in the second half on a jumper by Perkins, extending the margin to 13, 51-38. The teams traded points before a three by Green-Younger at the 16-minute mark extended the Falcon lead to 17, 61-44. The Albertus' offense continued to excel over the next eight minutes, taking a game-high 20-point advantage, 85-65, following a Davon Warner (New Haven, Conn.) and-1 layup with 8:44 left.

Following an influx of free throws for the visitors, the Lasers cut its deficit to six points, 98-92, with just 1:33 left on the contest. The Falcons did not waiver, however, as a Dawkins score and a foul combined with clutch free-throw shooting down the stretch led Albertus to a 105-97 victory.
