
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Ray Ford Jr. (Jersey City, N.J.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) for his performance this past week.
Ford Jr. averaged 20 points a game on a ridiculous 65% from the floor and 77.8% from downtown. Added six rebounds a game and three steals a game. Put up 11 points and two steals in win over Elms and followed up with a career-high 29 points on 9-for-12 shooting in win over Norwich with eight rebounds and four steals.
This is the second weekly honor roll nod that Ford Jr. has received this season.
On the season, the junior guard is averaging 15.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game on 41.7% shooting from the floor and 42.0% behind the arc.
The Falcons return to action tonight as they host Emmanuel at 7:30 p.m. in The Nest.
