NEW HAVEN, Conn.: Senior Ryan Sember (Branford, Conn.) won medalist honors to lead the Albertus Magnus College men's golf team open to its fifth win in program history on Wednesday, April 14. The Falcons topped Mitchell College on the road, 336-366, at the Mariners' Shennecossett Golf Club in Groton, Conn.

NOTES
• Sember began his season with medalist honors, shooting a one-round 78.
• Sember has won medalist honors three times in his Falcon career.
• Fellow senior Brandon Fowler (Lexington, S.C.) and newcomer Robert Eichelberger (Odessa, Fla.) finished tied for second in the event, each posting identical 82 scores.
• David Aquavia (Oakville, Conn.) and Devin Hines (West Haven, Conn.) rounded out the Falcons' scoring five. Aquavia took solo sixth with a score of 94, while Hines carded a 95.
• Albertus' most recent victory came in last season's 2020 season opener when they topped Purchase State at home at Ailing Memorial Golf Course.
• Today's win marks the fifth triumph in the program's short history.
