Wilson in Top Five to Lead Men's Golf after Day One of Rose City Invite

NORWICH, Conn. – Freshman Shamar Wilson (Montego Bay, Jamaica) leads the way for the Albertus Magnus College men's golf team after day one of the Rose City Invitational, as he sits in a tie for fourth place after carding a 75 (+4). Not all team and individual scores were compiled after the first day of the Rose City Invite, which Eastern Connecticut State University hosted at the Norwich Golf Course.

NOTES
• Leading the way for the Falcons was the freshman Wilson with his 75 (+4), which stands five strokes off the lead of ECSU's Ashton Lewis.
David Aquavia (Oakville, Conn.) sits just one stroke outside the top 10 with a day-one 80 (+9).
Charles Kristofak (West Hartford, Conn.) finished the round third amongst the Falcons with a score of 84 (+13).
• Rounding out AMC's competitors were Kyle Sikorski (Norwich, Conn.) and Devin Hines (West Haven, Conn.), who finished one stroke apart with scores of 88 (+17) and 89 (+18), respectively.
