NORWICH, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team finished third out of seven teams at the Rose City invitational, hosted by Eastern Connecticut State University on Sunday and Monday, after posting a combined score of 649 at the two-day event.

NOTES
• Freshman Shamar Wilson (Montego Bay, Jamaica) led the way for the Falcons with a combined score of 152 (+10) to place third in the 34-person field.
• David Aquavia (Oakville, Conn.) finished next for Albertus in 12th place with a two-day score of 159 (+17) after shaving a stroke off his score in round two.
• Charles Kristofak (West Hartford, Conn.) placed third for the Falcons in 22nd after carding an 84 on day one and an 85 on day two for a final score of 169 (+27).
• Kyle Sikorski (Norwich, Conn.) and Devin Hines (West Haven, Conn.) rounded out AMC's participants with scores of 171 (+29) and 172 (+30), respectively. The duo finished back-to-back in 24th and 25th place.

The Following day, the men's golf team will host their first match of the season at their home course, the New Haven Country Club, challenging Mitchell College in a home dual-match.
