GROTON, Conn. – In its final event before the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship, the Albertus Magnus College men's golf team finished first out of four teams at the Mitchell Invite III, hosted at the Shennecossett Golf Club in Groton, Conn.
The Falcons finished five strokes clear of second-place New England College with a team score of 319. The victory is AMC's fourth this season.

NOTES
• Shamar Wilson (Montego Bay, Jamaica) led the way for the Falcons, finishing one stroke shy of earning medalist honors with a three-over 74 for second place.
• Wilson has carded a sub-80 score in all but one round he has played this season.
• The duo of David Aquavia (Oakville, Conn.) and Devin Hines (West Haven, Conn.) placed next for Albertus, as the pair both finished with identical scores of 80 (+9) to tie for seventh on the leaderboard.
• Kyle Sikorski (Norwich, Conn.) was the next Falcon on the leaderboard in 13th place with his 85 (+14) round.
• Robert Eichelberger (Odessa, Fla.) finished fifth on AMC after carding a 90 (+19) to place 17th.
