NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus men's golf team once again finished on top, winning the Albertus Magnus Invitational over Saint Joseph's (Me.) and Elms College on Wednesday afternoon at the par 70 (34-36) New Haven Country Club.
It was another dominant performance for the Falcons, finishing with a score of 330. The Monks of Saint Joseph finished at 348, while Elms finished third at 349.
Shamar Wilson (Runaway Bay, Jamaica) and Charlie Kristofak (West Hartford, Conn.) each finished with an 11-over par 81, leading the way for Albertus
Sam Witt finished with an 82, including a 38 on the back nine. Kyle Sikorski shot an 86, shooting a 43 on both the front and back. Nick Piselli shot a 91.
Liam Fitzgibbons of Elms was the medalist for the event, shooting a nine-over par 79 (40-39).
