Still Perfect: Behind Wilson, Men's Golf Wins Fifth Straight Match To Start Season

HINGHAM, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team once again took home the top prize, winning the Emmanuel College Invitational with a score of 318 at the Par 72 South Shore Country Club. The win is the fifth straight for the Falcons to open the season. They have already matched last season's team with the most wins in a season.

It was Shamar Wilson (Runaway Bay, Jamaica) who earned medalist for the fourth time this season with a three-over-par 75. He shot a 34 on the front nine.

Charlie Kristofak (West Hartford, Conn.) shot a seven-over par 79. Playing as the No. 4, Sam Witt (Calgary, Alberta) shot an 81.

 

 

 

David Aquavia (Oakville, Conn.) finished with an 83, and Kyle Sikorski (Norwich, Conn.), an 87.

Similar to other performances on the season, the Falcons won in dominating fashion, beating second-place Rhode Island College by 26 strokes (344). Emmanuel finished with a 349, and Mitchell College shot a 369.
