Men's Golf Finishes In 14th At Bill Detrick Invitational

WINDSOR, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team finished in 14th place at the Bill Detrick Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the par 70 Keney Park.

As a team, the Falcons shot a 41-over par 321 in the second round for a two-day total of 91-over par 651. Albertus moved up a spot after being in 15th place after the first round.

Charles Kristofak (West Hartford, Conn.) was the top finisher for the Falcons, with a two-day total of 19-over par (75-84). Finishing two strokes behind Kristofak was Andrew Buckholz, who shot a second round 76. 

Nick Piselli shot a 22-over par 162. Kyle Sikorski shot an 82 in the second round for a 29-over par 169 and Paden Hicks shot a 192 over the two rounds.

Trinity College won the team tournament with a 25-over par 585 (296-289) total, four strokes ahead of the University of Hartford. Trinity's Cooper Yaccino was the medalist after an even-par 140 (72-68), two strokes ahead of second place.
