HAMDEN, Conn. - In his debut as head coach, Matthew Smith and the Albertus Magnus College men's golf team won its first tri-match of the season against Elms and SUNY Purchase on Thursday afternoon at New Haven Country Club.
The win was the first for first-year head coach Matthew Smith.
The Falcons shot a 303 as a team, defeating Elms College (339) and SUNY Purchase (379).
Charles Kristofak was the individual medalist, finishing with a 73, followed by teammate, Nick Piselli with a 75. Kyle Sikorski shot a 76, while Andrew Buckholz shot a 79 and Sam Witt, an 85.
