GROTON, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team finished in third place with a 56-over par 340 at the Mitchell Invitational III hosted by Mitchell College at the Par 71 Shennecossett Golf Course.
Wentworth Institute of Technology won the event shooting a 32-over par 316 followed by Mitchell at 47-over par 331. Lesley Universitiy finished in last with a 69-over par 353
Charles Kristofak(West Hartford, Conn.) and Andrew Buckholz (New Haven, Conn.) each finished with a nine-over par 80, tying them for sixth place.
Kyle Sikorski (Norwich, Conn.) shot an 85, placing him ninth and Michael-Anthony Ramsey (Montreal, Quebec) shot a 95.
Up next, the Falcons will compete in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship on October 14-15, hosted by New England College at Concord Country Club in Concord, N.H.
