HOW IT HAPPENED
The Camels took the contest's opening lead, netting a Tim Kobler goal 14:25 into the first period. Kobler gathered a Sam Stone pass and rifled a shot off the left post that just got by the Albertus keeper to give the visitors a 1-0 advantage.

Kobler's goal stood as the only score of a quiet first period, as the action picked up quickly in the second. Just 1:43 into the second frame, the Falcons tied the score at 1-1 with a beautiful strike by Olson. Camped out on the right side of the net, Olson just had to tip a Joseph Onorato (Johns Creek, Ga.) pass into a wide-open net as the goalie had to be concerned with the action on his stick side. Charles Risk (Medicine Hat, Alberta) also netted an assist on the play.

However, Connecticut College would not stay down long, as AJ DiCesare gave them back a one-goal lead, 2-1, just 1:03 later. DiCesare slapped a shot from the blue line that just got over Logan Bateman (Ottawa, Ontario) and into the back of the net.

Albertus again tied the score, 2-2, at the 6:43 mark of the second on Owen Allan's (Ancaster, Ontario) third goal of the year. After gaining possession of a Brendan Sjostedt (Tewksbury, Mass.) shot that was saved, Allan stuck with it and snuck the puck past the opposing keeper. Connor Doherty (Lowell, Mass.) earned an assist on the Albertus power-play goal.

Unfortunately for the Falcons, Allan's goal was their last of the game. On the other side of the ice, Conn. College added four goals in the third period to take a 6-2 road victory. The Camels took advantage of six Albertus' penalties in the third while they whistled for four infractions.

In net for the Falcons, Bateman had another stellar day with 27 saves on 33 shots. The sophomore has made 27-or-more saves in every game this season.
