NEW HAVEN, Conn. – In recognition of its stellar play during the 2022-23 season, the Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team earned 12 points in the Dec. 12 edition of the DCU/USCHO Division III Men's Poll released on Monday. The Falcons have made back-to-back appearances in the weekly poll, getting three points last week.

Albertus is 9-3 through the first 12 games of the season after winning eight of its last nine contests. AMC owns wins over then No. 10 nationally-ranked Trinity (Conn.) College and Manhattanville College, who is also receiving votes.

The Falcons will continue challenging themselves at the 57th Annual Codfish Bowl, hosted by UMass Boston. Albertus is slated to kick off the two-day tournament on Thursday, Dec. 29, at 4:30 p.m. against Tufts University at UMass Boston's Edward T. Barry Ice Rink.
