PINE VALLEY, N.Y. — The Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team tied, 2-2, with No. 11 Elmira College on the road on Saturday in a New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) game.
The Falcons had goals from Sam Anderson (Calgary, Alberta) and Paden Hicks (Kansas City, Mo.) on the evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Elmira opened the scoring with a five-on-three power-play goal at 14:50 in the first period as Cam Lowe took a shot from just in front of the faceoff circles.
- After trailing 1-0 going into the second period, the Falcons answered with a power-play goal of their own 35 seconds into the second period. Sam Anderson (Calgary, Alberta) found the back of the net for the equalizer off the quick pass from Tim Manning (Concord, Ohio).
- With the score tied at one heading into the third period, the visitors went ahead 2-1 in the third period by way of a Paden Hicks (Kansas City, Mo.) goal 9:14 into the frame, as he deflected in a shot from Sam Witt (Calgary, Alberta). Peter Keese (Minnetonka, MN) also had an assist on the goal.
- With the Soaring Eagles back on the power play, Chance Gorman's shot from the top of the circles wound up in the back of the net, tying the game at two with 5:05 to play in regulation.
