NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Chace Hale (Pittsburgh, Pa.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team was named the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Rookie of the Week for his performance against Wesleyan on Saturday in the team's 2-1 overtime win.

Hale stopped 30 shots on the day, including five saves during a five-minute power-play kill in the second period. It is the third game this season Hale notched at least 30 saves in a game.

The Rookie of the Week award is the first for Hale as he is currently 2-2-0 on the season with a 2.26 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage.

The Falcons play their last game of the 2024 calendar year on Saturday, December 7 as they take on No. 9 Trinity College (Conn.) on the road at 7:30 p.m.
