- Albertus held the lead until the 17:23 mark of the first period when Jacob Roberson scored off a rebound to tie the game, 1-1.
- The Beacons took their first lead of the game at the 8:27 mark of the second period as Jack Mortson tipped in a slapshot from Tyler Drummond right in front of the net to make it a 2-1 game.
- Just over two minutes later, Manning tied the game up with his seventh goal of the season as he tipped in a shot from Tyler Ignazzitto (Bath, Ontario) that went between the legs of Bost.
- The two teams went scoreless in the third period as Chace Hale (Pittsburgh, Pa.) stopped all 10 shots he faced from the Beacons as the teams went to overtime.
