
GENEVA, N.Y. - The Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team's season came to an end on Saturday evening after a 3-1 loss to No. 1 Hobart College in the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) quarterfinals.
Paden Hicks (Kansas City, Mo.) scored the lone goal for the Falcons, his eighth of the season.
Chace Hale (Pittsburgh, Pa.) 41 saves in net for Albertus.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hobart jumped on the board just 1:26 into the first period on a goal from Dominic Schimizzi.
- Tanner Daniels made it a 2-0 game for Hobart after taking the puck at the blue line and putting a shot past Hale during a line change for the Falcons.
- Hicks scored a power-play goal taking a shot in the slot past Hobart goaltender, Damon Beaver s to make it a 2-1 game as Robert Barrasso (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) and Tim Manning (Concord, Ohio) had assists on the play.
- Shane Shell added an empty net goal for Hobart with 65 seconds remaining.
