Buzzards Bay, Mass. - Junior James May (Branford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team collected a team-high two points, including a goal and an assist, as the Falcons fell on the road to Mass. HOW IT HAPPENED
Mass. Maritime came out firing on all cylinders, but senior Jack Kerner (Merrick, N.Y.) turned in an exceptional effort between the pipes, turning away the first five shots on goal. With the score tied at 0-0, the hosts scored the first two goals of the game to take a 2-0 edge heading into the final 15 minutes of the half.

The second quarter saw chances for both, though Mass. Maritime ran the score to 5-0 before Jordan Garguilo (West Haven, Conn.) got Albertus on the board, 5-1. With the clock winding down, senior Brennan Moore (Meriden, Conn.) and Mykel Stinson (Bridgeport, Conn.) brought the Falcons to within four, 8-3, but a goal from Franklin Ragge gave the Buccaneers a five-goal cushion, 8-3, at the half.

However from that point on, Mass. Maritime put the game out of reach outscoring the Falcons 13-1 to secure the home victory and improve to 4-1.
