Newton, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team fell on the road to Lasell College by a score of 21-3 on Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play at Grellier Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half (14-1 LC)

• Lasell held an 8-0 lead over Albertus heading into the second quarter behind two-goal performances from Andrew Fidalgo, James Anderson and Ryan Madden.
• The Lasers scored the first six goals of the second to push their lead to double-digits, 14-0, before senior James May (Branford, Conn.) found the back of the net with 17 seconds remaining to make it a 14-1 margin at the break.
• Junior Christopher Magnifico (Glastonbury, Conn.) picked up the assist on May's 10th goal of the season.

Second Half (7-2 LC)

• The Lasers outscored Albertus in the third, 4-1, to bring the score to 18-2.
• The Falcons' lone goal of the quarter came from sophomore Mykel Stinson (Bridgeport, Conn.) at the 1:47 mark on a nice feed from Magnifico.
• Freshman Terrell Yarbrough (New Haven, Conn.) kicked off the fourth quarter scoring his first goal of the season at the 11:10 mark, cutting the deficit to 15, 18-3.
• Lasell closed out regulation with three-goal scoring run to put the game away 21-3.

KEY PERFORMERS
Albertus:

• Freshman Andrew Luzzi (East Haven, Conn.) finished the game with a team-high four ground balls.
• Both Stinson and Derek Ralston (Guilford, Conn.) led the defensive unit with a caused turnover each.

Lasell:

• Madden, Anderson and Liam Gillis recorded three goals a piece while Madden posted a team-high three assists.
• Steven Phelps led the Lasers with 10 ground balls.
• Eleven different players caused a turnover for Lasell, including three from Evan Abatiell.
