After the Vikings opened the game with a goal 6:20 into the first quarter, the Falcons answered with the following three goals to take a 3-1 lead into the second.

Jayme Toro (East Haven, Conn.) found the back of the net first for Albertus, netting an unassisted tally at the 4:09 mark. Charles Stewart (Stratford, Conn.) was next to get on the scoresheet, recording back-to-back man-up goals within 30 seconds of each other.

Unfortunately for Albertus, its momentum did not carry over to the second quarter, as the home team scored four unanswered goals to take a 5-3 advantage into the halftime break.

However, the Falcons settled in during the third quarter, re-taking the lead, 8-7, heading into the fourth. Albertus outscored the Vikings by a 5-2 margin in the third quarter, with goalie Dane Walsh (Bethany, Conn.) making a game-high four saves in the period.

Stinson sparked the favorable quarter with the first two goals for the visitors. Stewart netted the third goal of the frame before Kader Price (Walden, N.Y.) and Jon Olson (Bellmore, N.Y.) tallied the final two scores for Albertus.

The Falcons put the road contest away in the fourth quarter, beginning the frame with the first three goals to cap off a 5-0 run by the visitors. Stinson again scored the first two goals of the period for Albertus to capture his first-career four-goal game.

The final tally of the contest came from Toro, who secured the Falcons' 11-8 victory with a goal with 3:56 left on the clock. The senior face-off specialist also won 15-of-21 draws this evening, finishing his season with a 66.5 percent win rate at the X.
