HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons jumped out to an early 1-0 lead following an own goal 3:51 into the game. The Rosemont keeper lofted the ball back to launch it downfield, but it rolled out of his stick into the back of the net. The Ravens answered with the following three goals to go ahead by a 3-1 margin at the 8:21 mark.

Ralston halted the run at the 7:52 mark with his first goal of the day to make it a 3-2 game. Unfortunately for the Falcons, Rosemont closed out the first quarter on a 5-0 run to take an 8-2 advantage into the second quarter.

Following back-to-back tallies by the Ravens to begin the second period, the Falcons got the scoreboard with two goals of their own by the 9:26 mark. Ralston scored first before Ten found the back of the net 14 seconds later to cut AMC's deficit to 10-4. Both of the Falcons' goals in the second were man-up.

Rosemont retaliated against Albertus' surge by closing out the first half on a 4-0 push. After another quarter-ending run, the Ravens took a 14-4 advantage into the halftime break.

The third quarter featured a lot of back-and-forth action, as the two teams traded goals for much of the frame. Luzzi scored the first of AMC's three goals, while Ten and Ralston netted the other two tallies. After the high-scoring frame, Rosemont took an 18-7 advantage into the fourth quarter.

Both the Falcons and Ravens scored two goals in the fourth quarter to settle the final score at 20-9. Following two Rosemont tallies, Ralston and Zaheim Wilkins (Mastic Beach, N.Y.) found the back of the net for AMC to conclude the game's scoring.

In net for the Falcons, Dane Walsh (Bethany, Conn.) finished with 11 saves.
