BOSTON – The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team concluded the 2022 season with a 17-3 road setback to the Saints of Emmanuel (Mass.) College on Wednesday evening in Boston.

Zaheim Wilkins (Mastic Beach, N.Y.), Jayme Toro (East Haven, Conn.), and Cody Walczak (Killingworth, Conn.) tallied a goal each for the Falcons, while Shane Kelly (Madison, Conn.) had an assist. Dane Walsh (Bethany, Conn.) made 20 in the cage for AMC.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saints began today's game by scoring the first 15 goals. Emmanuel tallied four goals in the first, three in the second, four in the third, and the first four goals of the fourth quarter.

Albertus broke onto the scoreboard with 8:23 left in the fourth period when Walczak netted his 11th goal of the spring.

Wilkins was next to get on the scoresheet, netting a man-up goal at the 6:40 mark on an assist from Kelly. Wilkins' goal is his 18th of the season.

A Saints' tally broke up AMC's scoring run, but Albertus answered with 4:55 left. Toro found the back of the net for the visitors to make it a 16-3 contest. Emmanuel tallied the next goal to settle the 17-3 EC victory.
