NEW HAVEN, Conn. – With the start of the season a week away, Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse head coach Darryl Delia released the program's schedule for the 2023 campaign.
The Falcons are slated to play a 17-game regular season in 2023, with 10 home games and seven road contests on the docket. In addition, Albertus will also play 10 bouts as a part of its Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) slate.
AMC kicks off the season on Friday, February 24, with a 6 p.m. home showdown against the Vikings of Salem State University at Celentano Field.
The Falcons then hit the for their next contest on Wednesday, Mar. 1, when they play Centenary (N.J.) University at J.E. Reeves Jr. Field in Hackettstown, N.J. After battling the Cyclones, Albertus will welcome Thomas (ME) College and SUNY Cobleskill for back-to-back home non-conference games on Mar. 4 and Mar. 7, respectively.
A road bout against Keystone College (Mar. 11) and a home tilt against Mitchell College (Mar. 14) precedes the Falcons' GNAC opener on Saturday, Mar. 18, at Anna Maria College. Albertus concludes March with home games against Purchase College (Mar. 22) and Johnson & Wales University (Mar. 28), and a road bout sandwiched in at Rivier University (Mar. 25).
In April, the Falcons will only play GNAC contests, with home games against Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Apr. 1, Dean College on Apr. 8, Emmanuel (Mass.) College on Apr. 18, and Regis (Mass.) College on Apr. 22. AMC will be on the road in April versus Lasell University (Apr. 11), Norwich University (Apr. 15), and University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Apr. 25 in the team's regular-season finale.
