NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team was selected to finish in fifth place in the South Division as the 2024 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Poll was released.
The Falcons finished with 37 voting points.
Lasell was picked to win the South Division, receiving 90 voting points and nine first-place votes. They were followed by the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.), who received 83 points and four first-place votes and Dean, who finished with 70 points and the remaining first-place vote to round out the top three.
Defending GNAC Champion Emmanuel was picked to win the North Division, receiving 90 voting points and nine first place votes. Rivier was picked second with 85 voting points and five first-place votes. Saint Joseph's (Me.) was picked third with 66 points.
The Falcons open up their season on Saturday, February 24 at Centenary (N.J.) at 1 p.m. They will open up GNAC play on Wednesday, March 13 at 3 p.m.
