Men's Lacrosse Announces Captains for 2024 Campaign

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse head coach Darryl Delia has named Kader Price (Walden, N.Y.), Matt Bouchard (Berlin, Conn.), and DaKari Coleman (Norwalk, Conn.) as the team captains for the 2024 season.

"We are thrilled to have these three young men leading our program," Coach Delia said. "This year's captains have worked hard on and off the field and have shown great leadership qualities."

Price, Bouchard, and Coleman will all be first time captains and all three are coming off a 2023 season where they were starters for the Falcons.

Price is coming off of a career-best season where he had 25 points behind 16 goals and nine assists, picked up 15 ground balls and caused a career-best five turnovers. He tallied two hat tricks for the season, scoring three goals and dishing out an assist in the opening day victory over Salem State and then heb scored four goals with two assists in the victory over Centenary.

Bouchard scooped up a career-high 22 ground balls and recorded 13 caused turnovers last season. He picked up a season-high seven ground balls against Saint Joseph's College of Maine and had two caused turnovers in four different contests.

In his debut season, Coleman registered five points behind five assists and picked up 87 ground balls. He picked up a season-high 15 ground balls and won a season-high 20 face-offs against Mitchell. 

Albertus men's lacrosse opens up the 2024 season this Saturday, Feb. 24 @ Centenary University.
